Description:
As a CNC Machinist you will be making sputtering targets out of a variety of metals (copper, aluminum, titanium, and others)
This location has newer machines and all controls are Fanuc or Haas, and primarily Haas machines.
This is a highly repetitive position making the same parts out of different metals
Responsibilities:
• Read programs and setup sheets
• Load programs
• Load tools and inserts
• Inspect parts for accuracy

Requirements:
• PPE: Metatarsal safety shoes required
• Experience working with multiple metal types
• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• Candidates must be able to stand, walk, bend and reach on a consistent basis
• Lift/carry up to 30lbs with or without assistance
• 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred; recent grad with certificate in related field acceptable, will train
• Possible contract to direct opportunity based on business need and worker performance, attendance and dependability

Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units. Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. Requires a high school diploma Mon-Thur 6a-430por its equivalent. May be required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 0-2 years of experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
