JOB SUMMARY
As a Civil Engineer Technician, you will work within the project team to prepare construction drawings and assist in preparation of technical reports and calculations. You will gain exposure to a wide range of design work, including municipal buildings and roadways, military infrastructure, urban infill sites, K-12 schools, college campuses, and commercial/retail developments. This position is for you if enjoy working a variety of projects that are exciting and challenging with the opportunity to see your projects constructed in the local community.
As a Civil Engineer Technician, you are a self-motivated individual who can work independently, think creatively, and collaborate in a team environment. You have a passion for design and modeling, and you demonstrate a detail orientated approach while working on multiple projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed coursework in an engineering drafting program (2 year technical degree preferred) or 1+ years of experience in civil drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- AutoCAD proficiency required
- Civil 3D proficiency is a plus, but not required
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently and take direction

Compensation: $25 - $30/hr DOE
Availability: Monday - Friday, typical office hours
