Job description
At Neighborly Ventures we develop and manage multi-family housing in Oregon, Washington, and Utah. The vision of our growing company is to develop and manage multi-family housing in an increasingly outward way, for a growing number of people, while advancing personal growth.
We're hiring for a Leasing Specialist at Columbia View Apartments, located in Vancouver, Washington.
Are you a team player? Someone who wants to grow in the multi-family property management industry? Are you naturally helpful and eager to learn and grow?
Yes? We want you to join us!
As a Leasing Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for future residents. You will work closely with the Assistant and Community Managers. At Columbia View, you serve a very important role managing the leasing process from initial contact to move-in day.
Your day-to-day will involve a variety of tasks which may include:
- Leasing apartments (greeting, touring, communicating community features and benefits while documenting all pertinent data. In addition, you will be processing applications, scheduling move-ins and creating lease agreements, while securing all legal requirements prior to move-in.)
- Possessing a thorough knowledge of all rental rates, deposits and fees offered at Columbia View Apartments.
- Completing monthly market reports to assess potential revenue enhancements.
- Learning and becoming proficient in property management software.
- Planning and executing monthly resident events.
- Supporting the onsite team with service requests, as needed.
- Maintaining a positive relationship with all vendors.
- Assisting in resolution of operational and resident conflicts.
- Assisting Community Manager in adherence of financial performance standards.
- Advancing personal growth and professional development which requires participation in regular outward mindset training and discussion, monthly self-accountability reviews, and completing industry related training seminars online or in-person.
Monotony is not in this job description. The ideal candidate will enjoy this fast-paced work environment, problem solving, and cultivating meaningful relationships with residents. At Neighborly Ventures we encourage all employees to have a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
Benefits: At Neighborly Ventures we are also committed to doing the right thing for our employees; we provide 100% employer-paid healthcare plans after 90 days of employment.
