Job description

We are looking for a Hands-On leader to work closely with the executive team and create financial plans that help the organization stay financially stable and make wise spending decisions. The Senior Manager of Finance analyzes current trends in the market and potential financial opportunities to determine if certain expenditures, costs or financial decisions are in the best interest of the company.

Managing a small team, this role is also responsible for researching financial legal requirements and ensuring the organization remains compliant; and consistently monitors the company's financial reports to determine different ways to maintain or reduce company costs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Prepare financial reports, produce activity statements, and monitor accounts on a

consistent cadence.

· Advise executive leadership on company financial and investment decisions

· Analyze company data and market trends to make financial predictions and maximize

profits

· Provide strategic cashflow management

· Ensure timely input and processing of accounts payables and receivables

· Oversee employee benefits, insurance, payroll and compensation

· Manage and regularly report on company budgets

· Produce long term financial business plans based on company data

· Implement reporting processes to minimize financial risk

· Ensure all investment and financial activities are compliant with applicable laws

Skills and Qualifications:

· 5+ years of Finance and Accounting experience in the Construction industry required

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

· Prior strategic planning experience at a management level

· Experience in managing budgets and forecasting, providing data analysis and

producing reports

· In depth knowledge of financial and/or accounting software systems

· Thorough understanding of Federal and State Wage Laws that relate to construction industry

· Strong background in FP&A, A/P and A/R

· Accurate Work In Progress reporting and understanding

· Strong Business acumen and strategic cashflow management

· Strong communication and presentation skills
