ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loan production - take full lead detail sheet from incoming leads along with 1003 loan application for residential and commercial loans
• Qualify borrowers based on their private capital financing needs
• Guide borrowers and be able to explain loan programs accurately
• Follow up with clients on missing items needed for pre-qualification
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, prospective clients, and other referral sources
• Track and manage incoming leads
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field, or 2-5 years of experience with processing loans required
• NMLS license required
• 1-2 years' experience in Customer Service required
• Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, non-conforming preferred.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

• Stellar customer service skills are a must
• Strong background in using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate professionally (written and verbally) internally, and externally with borrowers
• Personable and team oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills
• Willingness to work beyond 40 hours and go above and beyond the tasks outlined in the job description

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed

• Ability to manage work schedule and complete work by deadlines
