Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities

  • Conducts intake meetings with hiring managers to identify ideal candidate profiles, build sourcing strategies, and execute posting plan.

  • Identifies and sources passive candidates through outbound recruiting efforts.

  • Partners with outside agencies as necessary to execute on hiring objectives, including managing agency performance to expectations.

  • Reviews candidates against job specifications and lead candidates through the recruiting life cycle from application to hire.

  • Uses judgement and discretion in negotiating job offers with candidates and getting top candidates to "yes".

  • Sells the full Serigraph value proposition using a total rewards approach.

  • Conducts reference and background checks as appropriate and necessary.

  • Maintains recruiting related metrics and engages in problem solving/corrective action where needed.

  • Fosters relationships with agency partners, schools, and other talent sources.

  • Attends job fairs, host talent events, and represents Serigraph at community or industry events.

  • Gathers competitive intelligence and reports on talent market trends as observed in the marketplace.


Who We Are Looking for?

We're looking for fun, reliable coworkers to join our team. We'll teach you about Serigraph; however, there are some skills every Talent Acquisition Specialist must have:

  • Three to five years of direct recruiting experience preferred. Equivalent experience in outbound sales or marketing also acceptable.

  • Advanced education in marketing, business or communications preferred. High school diploma required with equivalent experience.

  • Willingness to learn about Serigraph positions and their respective responsibilities through job shadows, written descriptions, and partnering with incumbents, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.

  • Builds relationships throughout the organization and with candidates.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Uses good judgement, discretion, and confidentiality.

  • Genuinely enjoys recruiting and working to fill requisitions with top candidates.

  • Develops engaging job ads and copy. Advanced knowledge in talent sourcing tools and best practices ideal.

  • Executes on identified responsibilities quickly and accurately.

  • Knowledgeable in recruiting related laws and best practices.
