Job description

Our client is a design and build contractor supplying very high-end architectural interior fittings and large scale interior installations to the hospitality market. Their key market sector concerns the design and supply of bespoke metalwork, glasswork and electronic fittings to the high-end hotel market. Their work can be seen in the highest quality hotels in London, and high-end hotels in major cities across the world.

Our client are looking to appoint a sales manager with experience of construction for the hospitality sector. Clients include Hotel Owners, Developers, Main contractors and Design Consultancies- the key contacts who specify the interiors of hospitality developments. Our client's products are supplied to both new-build hotels and hotels undergoing refurbishment and re-design.

This is a well established company who have been operating for over 20 years, and are known for both their high quality product and seamless delivery. Half of business is concerned with a core range of products, the other half with bespoke designs to suit the design philosophy of either branded, or individually unique boutique hotel developments.

The sales manager will work alongside the design director, building on existing contacts within the hospitality industry and developing new ones.

We are looking for an established Sales Manager who can present at board level and can develop a genuine passion for what are market leading products. It is expected that you will be in charge of approx. 2.5M worth of business in your first year, increasing over time.

Some travel to our client's head office in Bedfordshire will be necessary, as well as to client's sites especially in Central London, and our client is looking for someone convenient for these locations. Some home working will be feasible.

Previous experience in a sales management role working in the hospitality construction sector (predominantly the building of hotels) is essential tor the position.

In addition to basic salary, an exceptional commission and bonus structure exists for this role
