Job Title: CNC Grinder Operator
Shifts: Days 39 hours per week, early finish every Friday
Job status: permanent
Salary: £22,000 - £23,500 + very good benefits package + overtime available
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

CNC Grinder Operator
A brand new vacancy has been created with a local precision engineering company for a CNC Grinder Operator to join their engineering team on a permanent basis as the business continues to grow.

The company have been supplying specialist precision engineered components to aerospace, oil & gas, motorsport and general industry for many years from their modern facility in Tewkesbury, commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester and surrounding areas.

The job will involve you operating CNC grinding machine tools, operating CNC laser cutting tools and using presses to produce high quality metal component parts.

About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have experience of either operating CNC grinding or CNC laser cutting machinery in a precision engineering environment such as aerospace, oil & gas, automotive or similar.

You will be familiar with operating either CNC laser cutting or CNC grinding machines and with using precision measuring tools to check your work for quality according to engineering drawings.

You might already have experience of setting and programming CNC grinding machine tools and/or CNC laser cutters but if you haven't, we're happy to consider someone who has experience of operating CNC grinders or CNC laser cutters who is willing and able to learn how to set and program the equipment.
