An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone who currently works within the insurance/reinsurance sector and who would like to expand their knowledge and work for one of the world's leading reinsurance firms - Guy Carpenter.You will be actively engaged with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver excellent and efficient service to our Property Clients who are based in North America.The nature of the role has some flexibility and whilst experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry is essential, a methodical and dedicated candidate with limited experience in property will be considered.What can you expect?You will be responsible for coordinating all placement support activities and delivering proactive, valued support within our client teams.Broker Support/ Account Executive prompts and monitors key activities and tasks throughout the reinsurance placement in order to promote efficient and timely compliance with our best practice processes.What you will be rewarded with?Good work life balance with a competitive salary.Comprehensive benefits programs including: excellent pension contributions, private health insurance, pension, employee assistance program, career mobility, employee network groups, volunteer opportunities, and other programs.27 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days per year.We will rely on you to:Assist with reviews of client renewal informationInitiate the contract drafting process, updates and production of final contract documentation.Drive full-cycle use of the e-trading platform GC Marketplace, from market submission and quoting through to confirming reinsurer participations.Assist brokers and prepare submissions, where required.Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information as necessary.Liaise with reinsurers in response to queries or requests, in conjunction with brokers.Maintain core placement files to ensure we evidence all best practice procedures and compliance requirements.Respond to client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.)On boarding of new clients and markets.Key responsibility for Compliance policies Sanctions referrals, Third Parties, AML & ABC.Monitor and report on business metrics.Build a strong relationship with our Service Team and an understanding of accounting, claims and proportional treaty administration.Actively participate in team, client and reinsurer meetings.What you need to have: Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.A keen attention to detail and accuracy.A high level of communication skills, essential for establishing good working relationships.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookWhat makes you stand out: Experience in the insurance / reinsurance industry is essential.Attention to detail and delivery accurate documentation with a mentality of right first timeA good level of knowledge in the Property insurance placements, specifically in North America.GUY CARPENTERGuy Carpenter & Company, LLC is a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist with more than 3,100 professionals in over 60 offices around the world.
