This experience is augmented with technical expertise in applied operations and industry analysis, finance, marketing, data science and strategic planning.A more complete description of ICF experience and capabilities can be seen by visiting our web site, Description:As a Manager in the ICF Aviation team, you will be primarily responsible for leading consultancy tasks in the aviation practice. These include guidance of junior staff, managing small-mid level projects, handling day-to-day communication with clients and delivering solutions to problems using a variety of analytical techniques.The role is tailored for someone with a commercial aviation background with projects set to include aircraft lease cash flow forecasting, investment advisory and due diligence, asset valuation, network planning, traffic and revenue forecasting, air service development as well as reviewing and creating business plans for a range of carriers. Any experience in aviation sustainability, sustainable aviation fuel and sustainable financing would be advantageous. Clients are typically asset owners seeking to minimize risk and investors seeking to review current or future opportunities, however the role is considered cross-functional within ICF - supporting teams with delivery to clients across MRO, Airlines, Airports, Tourism organisations, governments, and non-government organisations, where skills and knowledge can lend value through collaboration across teams of specialists. Holistic experience within the aviation industry is a plus.Your role will also include administrative responsibilities such as developing budgets and scopes of work, project tracking, and liaising with ICF's Contracts and Finance teams. You will also be expected to contribute to business development efforts by building a network of client relationships, working on proposals, attending conferences, and contributing to ICF's thought leadership.Key Responsibilities:Participate as a member of a consulting team on client-based projectsGather, analyse, and interpret data in support of assessmentsInterface with clients to gather data and present results of studies and analysesWrite reports and presentations to synthesize and explain analysesBe familiar with transportation industry data sources and issuesSupport development of intellectual property development projectsSupport business development efforts, including proposal writingBasic Qualifications:Degree educated from a reputable institution.5+ years of work experience in commercial aviation with a focus on finance and/or aircraft leasingHolistic knowledge of the wider aviation industry, including sustainability, is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).Exposure or knowledge of other analytical systems a plus but not essential (R, Python, SQL, MATLAB, EViews, etc)Professional Skills:Working knowledge of analytical methods.Experience of using industry datasets.Demonstrate understanding of drivers of airline, airport and leasing industry performance.Strong oral and written communications skills in English.Works collaboratively with project team and client to achieve established goals.Organises written work in a manner that is clear, easy to follow, and tailored for the intended audience.People management experience a plus; either via direct reports or functional oversight on a project basis.Comfort operating within a flat organizational structure and agile working environment.Proactive project creation and management experience, demonstrating the following:Identify opportunities and manage business development to project inceptionFacilitate client communicationsTake direction from senior leadership to implement independentlyManage projects and create structured workflowDelegate with administrative and analytical supportMaintain ongoing administrative requirements with consulting#indeedWorking at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
