About this exciting opportunity

You will have a broad range of duties to fulfil, with a focus on managing and motivating the team, ensuring the tasks on the daily schedules are completed to the required standard and inducting and training new staff members. You will also develop and improve the performance of the Brewbird Trainees and carry out all operational front of house and kitchen duties, plus create menu items, recipes and develop dishes, and manage bookings and events.

Working with the Social Business Manager, you will help to plan and execute the Brewbird strategy and vision, including continuously looking at ways to develop and improve the Café, whilst tasks such as ensuring all financials are being recorded, stock levels are managed on a daily and weekly basis, and producing monthly and quarterly narrative reports are all key aspects of the role.

What we are looking for

Experience of managing services or businesses in the catering industry
Experience of building and successfully leading staff teams and the ability to harness the strength of diverse teams of paid staff and volunteers, including those who may have limited working experience

Level 3 Food and Hygiene

Knowledge of processes around managing stock levels and allocating of stock

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive and professional approach to your work
