About the team:The Treasury department supports the Bank by ensuring adequate funding and maintaining robust risk controls. Treasury Front Office focuses on balance sheet data and market analysis to ensure shareholder value is created whilst operating within the risk appetite of the Board.We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team based in our London office.Please note experience within Treasury is not necessary.About us:The OSB Group is a leading specialist mortgage lender, primarily focused on carefully selected segments of the mortgage market. OSB's unique cost-efficient operating model is supported by our wholly-owned subsidiary OSBIndia.What you will be doing:As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to support the Treasury Front Office through the design, development and implementation of value add analytical tools to support Treasury objectives and become an integral part of the team.Your responsibilities will include…Collaborating with team members to enhance existing processesManaging the framework of analytical tools within the Treasury Front Office including structured and unstructured data, systems and processesBuilding management information using data manipulation, system configuration and codingLeading and managing project deliverables relating to system development (initially this will include consolidating existing systems)Designing and monitoring the roadmap of analytics developmentIn return for your commitment:We offer a competitive base salary starting at £40,000 dependent on experience and a competitive benefits package including:Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysContributory pension (8% employer 5% employee)Life Assurance (4x salary) plus Group Income ProtectionAccess to Private Medical Insurance and Medical Cash PlanAdditional benefits such as, Cycle Purchase scheme, Season Ticket Loan, Holiday purchase / sell schemes, Employee Perk Portals and Save as you Earn scheme.Could you be the one?We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience/knowledge and qualifications set out below:Coding skills in Visual Basic, MATLAB and SQLPrevious work experience of data analysis and reporting developmentSpecialist knowledge of data and analytical toolsUniversity degree (ideally in a quantitative subject) or equivalent work experienceWe also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
