Tradewind recruitment are currently looking for a Year 1 teacher to cover a teacher who will be on maternity leave from January 2022 - July 2022. This is a full-time role paying an equivalent salary of up to £45,000.

The school is a three-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham with a nursery and ASD Resource Base, an integral part of the school catering for pupils from across the borough with Autism. The Headteacher is building an excellent and inclusive school community where children are proud of their achievements and excel in their learning. Staff want all children to develop a love of learning that remains with them for life. They also want them to develop the values and skills they will need to succeed in and contribute to, the diverse world in which they live. The Headteacher is currently recruiting for a Year 1 maternity cover teacher to join them in January.

The teacher must have:

* Full QTS (or equivalent qualifications to teach)
* Excellent knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
* Ideally Year 1 or Key Stage 1 experience
* Ability to inspire pupils and staff and motivate all to give of their best
* Good organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and positively engage with parents
* Full time availability between January and July

The school is in a great location close to Bellingham and Lower Sydenham stations with options to commute via bus or train. There is also parking on site for staff.
