Senior UX / UI Designer - London

A Senior UX / UI Designer with strong experience in UX / User Experience, wireframes, product design, user testing and Agile is required to join a growing and busy team based in central London.

You must live and breath UX, user testing, product pipeline, discovery, research, wireframes, prototype, follow all the progress on the iteration side of things. Ideally in house, so understands how to make the digital product better through UX, following it from start to finish

My client is pushing their digital offering to the next level and this is an important hire for the team. You will see everything through from start to finish

Experience Required:

4+ years experience as a UX / UI Designer, designing digital interfaces for large scale web applications and online applications, ideally also mobile UX design
Knowledge of responsive design methods, scalable designs, and UI frameworks
Experience of prototypes, wireframes, iteration, user discovery, product discovery etc
Interest & experience in User Experience, HCI, Human Factors, human behaviour etc
An understanding of designing website functionality, online interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
Willingness to work with the technology team, get stakeholder buy-in and drive online design solutions

The role:

Leading the UX design of their pattern libraries, driving the decision making for pattern selection based on sound usability knowledge
Delivery and presentation of relevant project deliverables as required by design projects (such as creative briefs, mood boards, concepts, digital assets, style guides, pattern libraries, CSS etc.)
Ability to grasp rough wireframes and sketches and be able to complete interactive prototypes and end-to-end visions independently both online and mobile
Ensure all deliverables have a strong emotive, brand, identity and user-centred design solution
Work closely with the agile team members to understand the vision for the experience and how to use the design to lift and define the overall user engagement of the product.
Comfortable conducting user research and testing
