Recruitment Compliance Auditor \/ Senior Auditor, Hays Compliance, London Victoria

Hays is looking to recruit a Compliance Auditor, either at an entry or Senior level. The role would suit someone who has experience of pre-employment screening as an auditor or similar administration role within a recruitment company, as full training will be provided. You'll be working for a FTSE 250 company, the UK's market leader within the recruitment industry and offices across the world.Recruitment Compliance Auditor \/ Senior Auditor, Hays Compliance, London Victoria

Your new role
As a Compliance Auditor you will be joining a team who conduct compliance audits on the Hays office network and other recruitment agencies that supply temporary workers to Hays' clients, where Hays operate as the Managed Service Provider (MSP), to ensure that their recruitment processes comply with all relevant contract terms, e.g. right to work, qualification, credit, criminal checks and referencing etc. Key duties will include scheduling and booking audits, reviewing candidate files to ensure that they are fully compliant with all relevant legal and contractual requirements and creating reports listing any actions required or improvements that are needed. The audits focus on the content of candidate files and financial records and cover a wide range of industries, including local authorities, investment banks, life sciences & construction. The team help manage risk through this audit programme, work closely with the client account teams to address key risks and provide training and support to suppliers to ensure they understand their contractual obligations to conduct the required temporary worker background checks and supply workers that are fully compliant.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this post you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, an aptitude assessment will form part of the recruitment process. You should have a good working knowledge of MS Office, strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential. You should be organised and be able to build strong relationships with, both our internal and external customers. You will also be expected to undertake continued training and development to improve both personal and team performance.
