Data Governance\/Data Quality Analyst - London - Perm - Up to \u00A350k depending on experience

Your new company
My client, one of the world's largest privately owned insurance businesses, is seeking a Data Governance\/Data Quality Analyst to join an already growing team in the London office.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Managing data quality for business-critical data
* Stakeholder management
* Translate technical information into business language and vice versa
* Work with key stakeholders to identify root cause and remediate data related issues
* Translate business data quality requirements into data quality rules

* Execute and maintain data management processes (including data governance processes)
* Uphold all data management policies, standards, and procedures

What you'll need to succeed
You will need proven experience in the following:

* Data profiling, data analysis and manipulation
* End to end development of PowerBI Reports (ETL, Data Modelling, Expression writing and Report writing)
* Good practices in SQL development
* Good understanding of relational databases
* Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot etc.)
* Strong understanding of data quality principles
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills
