Job description

The Global L&D team is looking for a Senior Associate with strong customer service skills, an interest in the learning and development agenda, a willingness to be flexible and work on different projects, and a solid track record of delivering high quality services. The work and projects will change over time and the team requires people who have both the skills and attitude to respond positively to change.

In addition to working with members of the Global L&D Team the roles require working with other key stakeholders including territory and regional Learning & Development teams, representatives from the global Lines of Service, external third party content providers and offshore service delivery teams.

  • Demonstrating having change agility; able to flex style, approach and work methods, and be open to working on new projects with different people;

  • Working independently, to manage time and workload effectively;

  • Demonstrating a proven ability to build deep trusted relationships in a virtual context where there has not been the opportunity to meet face to face;

  • Demonstrating experience of working successfully in virtual teams;

  • Being customer focused at all times; understanding the needs of customers/stakeholders and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions;

  • Using Google tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration;

  • Analysing data and communicate insights to support decision making;

  • Demonstrating advanced attention to detail;

  • Demonstrating advanced organisational skills to enable follow-up and monitoring - checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and escalating issues to management when appropriate;

  • Meeting logistics and administration: setting up calls or face to face events, preparing and delivering pre-reading materials to participants and taking minutes as required;

  • Communicating with impact, both in writing and orally. The ability to write in plain English is essential (global documents are often read by people for whom PwC English is not their first language); and,

  • Having a professional curiosity e.g. willing to explore and discover how software systems and IT processes work, openness to trying new things.

The following skills / experience are not required but knowledge / experience with any of the below are considered highly desirable:

  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience; preferably with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) and Vantage HQ (for in-house candidates);

  • Familiar with PwC's global learning platform; Vantage (for in-house candidates);

  • Knowledge of learner assessment & testing methodology and tools;

  • Knowledge of learning evaluation methodology and tools;

  • An understanding of data analytics and how it can be applied to learning

  • Familiar with digital learning authoring tools and the life-cycle for developing and delivering digital learning;

  • Process improvement experience; able to independently identify opportunities to improve / reengineer processes in order to provide a better customer service and experience;

  • Experience of using agile project management techniques;

  • Design thinking skills and experiences, such as persona development, journey mapping, and prototyping;

  • Data visualisation skills using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau;

  • Graphic design skills - ability to create high quality visual aids in support of communication;

  • Interest in current and emerging learning technology trends; and,

  • Knowledge of how PwC works as a network of firms.
