The Group Sales Director will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will have responsibility for the management and performance of the Broughton sales team across pharmaceutical, nicotine and cannabinoid markets. They will also take a leading role in the business development of growth into new markets and new services.

*Main Purpose of job*

You will be responsible for Sales strategy and planning, liaising with other members of the senior management team to develop sales forecasts and strategic plans for the Broughton Business Plan (BP).

Within this role you will develop and lead the sales team, identify new growth opportunities, and lead sales activities to accelerate business development and capture market share.

As the Sales Director you will provide leadership support to create a global team of awesome rainmakers, Identifying and onboarding new clients operating in the pharmaceutical inhalation market.

• Strategic thinker - seeing the bigger picture and setting objectives in order to deliver the business plan while preparing the groundwork for delivery of the longer-term strategic plan.

• Strategic worker - carrying out necessary planning and actions in order to forge strategic partnerships with Clients.

• The ability to motivate and mentor team members to maximise personal and team performance.

• Excellent communicator capable of building relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.

• A scientific background and extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical inhalation market.

• Degree educated with experience in Business Development >5 years.

• Extensively networked in the pharmaceutical arena.

• Proven experience of winning across Broughton's 3 battlegrounds - New Product Development Projects, Regulatory Projects and Post Market Activities.

• Comfortable spending time travelling and visiting clients internationally developing long-term relationships.

• An industry established, professional and trustworthy individual with drive and passion to complete work within tight deadlines.

• Results driven, customer focussed and hard working.

• Driver's licence is required.
