Job description

As Senior Account Manager in our small but growing team you will manage client accounts and support the development of new business opportunities. This will include the following key responsibilities:

  • Devise and deliver proactive and reactive media strategies and campaigns
  • Proactively contribute to the smooth running of the business, and day-to-day management of existing client accounts
  • Manage client relationships on agreed accounts to ensure brief is met
  • Brief clients regarding campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
  • Draft, copy edit and proofread a range of materials from op-eds, online copy, letter and press releases, at speed and with exceptional attention to detail
  • Build relationships with key media and industry contacts
  • Work well in a team, including potential management and mentoring of other team members
  • Support colleagues on the development of new business opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 3-7 years of experience working in a PR agency, journalism or another relevant industry
  • Strong interest and knowledge of current affairs
  • Passion for the media, including social media
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Desire to get stuck in to a fast-growing new PR company
