We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse (band 5) to provide care to a comprehensive and specialist mental health services.
The trust we are supporting, provide mental health and learning disability services to people across Greater Manchester. They deliver care across 200 different locations in five boroughs:
* *Bury, Oldham and Rochdale* - mental health and learning disability services for children and adults
* *Tameside and Glossop *- children and adult mental health and learning disability services, health improvement.
* *Stockport *- mental health and learning disability services for children and adults

*The Role*
To carry out the role successfully, we are looking for candidates that can undertake the following:
* Assist in the development and co-ordination of skills within the inpatient multi-disciplinary team
* Work collaboratively across a range of disciplines to continuously promote a needs'-based approach to all clients
* Assessment of need of clients and carers
* Formulation of the care plan, to include discharge planning
* Planning, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of programmes of nursing care in accordance with the Care
candidates should have the following:
* Minimum of 6 months paid experience at Band 5 level in a hospital environment within the last 2 years.
* NMC Professional Registration
* Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual
* Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients
* Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies
* MUST have PMVA or similar Restraint's training/Qualification
