Business Analyst - Asset Management - Investment Management - Python

A leading, global, asset management organisation, who specialise in offering investment solutions and services to over 2 million customers. The role sits within the Investment Management Technology team that provides systems development, implementation support services for the organisations global Investment Management division. The organisation is working on a number of programmes, these programmes span across asset classes and include Fundamental and Quantitative Research, Sustainable Investing, Systematic and Portfolio Construction, Risk Management and Trading.

Your new role
The role of Business Analyst will be contributing towards the ongoing success of their technology transformation. You will join their front office technology team delivering change, working closely with Research, Portfolio Construction, Order Generation, Quant and Systematic investment teams.

As a business analyst, you will be responsible on requirements gathering, understanding and documenting business processes in additional to systems and QA testing, working with other teams in UK, HK, India and Dalian, to deliver end to end project and managing key stakeholders across the global investment team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you must be a Business Analyst, with an understanding of Python and SQL, you will also have Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent project management. To be successful you will have willingness to learn and work with financial datasets including fundamentals, technical, sentiment signals, market data, or alternative data. For this role you would have worked in Investment Management before, in Agile working environments.
