Payroll Officer working for a public sector organisation based in Oldham, paying \u00A316.90ph.

Your new company
You will work for a large public sector organisation within a medium sized payroll team. You will assist the Payroll Manager with the monthly payroll, reconciliation work and any ongoing payroll projects.

Your new role
You will be responsible for inputting of payroll data and completion of payroll runs to ensure employees are being paid correctly and on time each month. You will deliver a high standard of service for employees, ensuring that payroll queries are managed through to resolution within agreed service standards.
You will support the Payroll Manager to ensure that the required data, financial contributions and information is provided to external third parties such as HRMC and pension providers, meeting the required deadlines, you will
assist in the development of plans and timetables that support continuous improvement for payroll processes

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience within an end to end payroll environment, you will be up to date with all payroll legislation.You will ideally have worked within a shared service environment and be able to deal with complex payrolls. You will be able to start on short notice.

What you'll get in return
You will have the option to work from home, this role will become permanent following a successful probation. You will work 35 hours a week and receive 25 days holiday.
