We've got an exciting apprenticeship opportunity on DWP Digital's User Support Services - Field Services Team. We're part of the wider IT Service Management community that supports the delivery and continuity of DWP's live service, for over 100,000 colleagues and more than 20 million customers.

You will study towards the Level 3 IT Solutions apprenticeship with virtual learning delivered by our partner provider. This will include one-to-one with tutors and mentors, tutorials, and research projects.

You'll combine your formal learning with a real IT support job and hands-on experience.

You'll work across technologies to gain the technical expertise to launch a brilliant career. By the end of the apprenticeship you will have achieved an industry-standard qualification and have the skills to progress your career in line with your aspirations.

Day-to-day, you will provide support for IT End User devices, including mobile phones, mobile computers (laptops), and desktop equipment.

This is technical role, and you'll own technical IT support activities rather than just administrative tasks.

As an Apprentice End User Computing Engineer, you will develop the skills and expertise needed to investigate, diagnose and solve our users' tech issues. You will also learn to exercise judgement sometimes in challenging situations, and develop excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

You'll deliver a range of on-site and remote services to end users, including: new devices and user guidance through TechBar and Digital Workplace Project deployments, development, delivery of digital services.

In return for your skills we offer pay for this role of £21,262.
