An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development professional to manage the Business Development team within the Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' apprenticeship team at Abingdon and Witney College. We are very proud of the partnerships that we create with businesses of all sizes across Oxfordshire, and this new post will increase our capacity to work effectively and innovatively with employers across the region.
You will manage a small business development team to deliver a number of employer engagement and apprenticeship recruitment targets, and to promote the whole college training offer to the employers we work with.
The college has a clear commitment to delivering the very highest quality of training we can, so you will need to be comfortable helping us to grow the volume of the work we do, whilst ensuring that every 'sale' is in keeping with the mission and purpose of the college.
You will have a strong track record in a sales role, ideally in a training and development environment. You will be able to successfully manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, whilst being able to motivate and enthuse your team to achieve their targets. In return, we'll offer you a fun working environment, where no day is the same and where a 'sale' made by you or your team will genuinely change lives!
In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.
Closing date: 8th December 2021 (midnight)
