About Us
We are a small but busy practice located in St. Leonards-on Sea. We have digital x-ray, ultrasound, dedicated theatre suite and separate kennels and cattery. We have a full team of RVN's, SVN's and receptionists, several who have been with the practice for many years. We opened in 2009 and have grown rapidly through recommendations from clients, resulting in an above average client to vet ratio.
We are close to the sea, with its long promenade, and the local town has many historic sites, outdoor activities and a variety of restaurants. There is a thriving arts scene and several festivals are held each year, including seafood and wine, Jack in the Green, bonfire night and the annual Mayday bike run for thousands of motorbikes who descend on the town.
We currently have 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 1 who is a Cardiology certificate holder, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and 3 support staff. We are looking for a Vet who is keen to bring their own ideas to the team but also adaptable to ours. Ideally you will be comfortable with all routine surgeries, medical work-ups and consultations and confident to work in a busy practice environment. You must be passionate about pet care and willing to work with clients to ensure their pets get the best care possible within any constraints they may have. We work with a couple of local charities and are part of the RSPCA Neutering Scheme for cats and bull-breeds.
Applicant Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone looking to take the next step in their career, possesses the ability to guide and help build their team by example.
