Your profile

Here's what it takes to join some of the world's brightest minds-

  • Graduated or are on track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above in a Business, Procurement or Project Management related degree
  • Are flexible, know how to connect with others and pride yourself on bringing positive, bright ideas to the team
  • Feel comfortable working and reporting at all levels of a multidisciplinary team
  • Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking responsibility for tasks and projects you've been assigned
  • Have an eye for detail and know how to make the right call
  • Understanding of supply chain and procurement activity

Understanding of the principles of a gas turbine operation is desirable but it's not essential

Your responsibilities

As a Graduate Project Manager you will undertake placements in a variety of departments designed to further enhance already established skills in the creation of clear and attainable project objectives, requirements definition and managing constraints of cost, time, scope, risk and quality.

  • Hands-on experience in an exciting and challenging global services environment
  • Learn/improve your business management skills through the support of projects in Siemens Energy Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) business.
  • Collaborate with a variety of project management functions in the execution of internal and customer facing projects.
  • Develop your knowledge of key support functions such as Project Management Office, Supply Chain, Commercialisation and Finance.
  • Build your skills through training modules including Project Energy and Career Management

Opportunities for Personal Growth

You will have an individual training plan to aid you in developing the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. At the end of the program you will be equipped with excellent knowledge to support you for your professional career within Siemens Energy.

  • Be a valued member within a team of Entry Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in the business improvement projects. The scope of these projects will provide you with valuable team working and presentation skills.
  • Be an ambassador for STEM through a multitude of volunteering opportunities, such as Greenpower, Big Bang Fair and much more.
  • Seek out opportunities that will strengthen your skills and enhance your knowledge to continue to support the business and your career development path.
