Reporting to the Lead - Technical Product Data Translation , you will be a key part of our Translation Team, The role is responsible for the translation of Technical product data from English to Russian for the Farnell Russian website.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo Translate and localise technical product data content: Index terms, Product categories, Product Titles, Technical Attributes, Features and BenefitsMaintain content in the STEP databaseReview and action failed search terms using thesaurus and key word redirects improving conversionProof check translations of other 'technical content' used in marketing campaigns, eNewsletters, editorials, Direct Mail, PR etc.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSRussian mother tongue, fluent in EnglishTranslation experienceTechnical backgroundAbility to translate technical content accuratelyGood working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly ExcelProficient in web technical searchAbility to understand the meaning and the context of the original writing and then translate it whilst maintaining the integrity of the original workExperience in a relevant product categoryExcellent attention to detailAbility to work within systematic procedures using a complex system with global capabilitiesAbility to plan and prioritise own work effectively to achieve set end resultsCompliant to accept instructions from authority and undertake some routine tasksExcellent communicator and team playerGood written communication and reporting skillsWHAT NEXT?Please click on the link to Apply, your CV will be reviewed within 7 days and if successful in the shortlisting process, we will contact you directly.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
