Our UK HQ is located in Leeds City Centre (West Yorkshire).WHO ARE YOU:You are a proactive, self motivated and energetic person with an understanding of identifying and managing ecommerce web site improvements through experience improvements, fault prioritisation having an appreciation of both waterfall and Agile development methodologies helping drive best in class experience for our 45+ global transactional websites covering Europe, US and Asia Pacific regions.You work well with diverse teams/stakeholders globally supporting growth opportunities and change requests. You possess strong communications skills both with internal and external customers.You are also comfortable working with third party service providers.More specifically:You have a proven track record working within a commercially focused retail ecommerce environmentYou work closely with management and stakeholders in order to prioritise and manage expectationsYou have demonstrable working knowledge of IT/eCommerce project lifecycles - experience in Agile methodologies a distinct advantageYou have strong organisational skills and working knowledge of project managementYou have experience working with and managing external technology and service providersYou have strong communication skills both written and verbalYou are comfortable in leading and decision makingWHAT YOU'LL DO:Reporting directly to the Head of Web Operations you help manage prioritised ecommerce impacting projects ensuring delivered to plan whilst ensuring day to day problems and queries are managed internally.You will have an understanding of business requirements translating this into world class online experience through a variety of teams.Working closely with supporting ecommerce functions such as user experience, ecommerce based agile teams responsible for the full end to end customer journey; User Acceptance Testing function as well as Project management, BA's and IT development and Fault fix teams.Providing support to sales and marketing functions, communicating and demonstrating change but also helping to identify/raising opportunities for change and supporting identifying and prioritizing fault resolution.In addition:You will provide input and review all project documentation ensuring accurate deliveryYou will ensure post analytical measurement and regular reporting of deliverables is undertakenYou will support the fault fix process - prioritising and providing clarification/requirements on faults to ensure speedy resolutionYou will provide and support effective internal communication on change and open faultsYou will attend regular internal meetings providing input and ecommerce related updatesYou will provide two way support to the Digital Transformation manager (who works closely with Sales and Marketing)You will help manage 3rd Party solutions - such as our API Portal and OneTrust cookies solutions.A CAREER WITH FARNELL:A career at Farnell means you will work alongside remarkable people who will help you reach your full potential and have a successful career with us.
