Job description

Pertemps are proud to be working with an extremely prestigious Client within Education Services.

Due to peak period the department are extremely busy and require extra support.

Pertemps require a methodical and accurate individual with excellent Data Entry skills, an individual who is able to think on their feet, identify any potential issues and pick up processes fast and efficiently.

The role requires an individual who is able to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner.

The role is initially a 6 week booking which could potentially last longer depending on work volumes.

The Department is a small and busy team which has been particularly busy and has developed a back log of work, the temporary staff member is required to provide extra support to the team.

The candidate will be supporting with data entry to support:

  • The updating of student records in their student management system
  • Updating student placement trackers
  • Collating data related to Covid vaccination status.
  • There may also be some frontline query response work or student facing support although this is expected to be limited.
  • You will work closely with and be supported by colleagues in the team to ensure records are appropriately updated retrospectively and in preparation for future activity.

This role requires a confident and proactive individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

You should be able to work to deadlines and know when to seek appropriate support from colleagues.

Person specification
  • Good customer service.
  • Working independently including planning and prioritising own workload, dealing with conflicting deadlines, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained
  • Fast and accurate Data Entry skills
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office packages
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service and to adapt to changing circumstances
