Position Summary?
?
The Asset Manager will support the long-term financial strategy of the portfolio related to multifamily property management operations by maximizing the value of each property, and achieve the highest return on investment for the owner.
?
Essential Functions

Provides overall direction and supervision of financial structure and budgets for each property.

Improve the value of the asset by reducing expenses and increasing income.

Responsible for conducting market research, site selection and property tours with prospective investors.

Preparing market, site, and financial analysis to support recommendations.

Development and analysis of budgets and financial information for new locations in line with company strategy.

Communicates with all parties including stakeholders.

Prepare, monitor, and adjust property financial projections and financing strategies

Assist with acquisitions and dispositions of properties as needed.

Ensures that all property operations in portfolio are in adherence and compliance with governing business documents (including but not limited to closing documents, Property Management Agreements, or governing programs).

Utilizes property management software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management applications to complete and produce required reports and other analysis documents.

Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, researching and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Real?Estate, Finance?preferred?or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant relevant work experience will be considered.

Minimum of five years of related experience?in Real Estate Asset Management?required.?

Able to travel out of state a minimum of 5% of time.

Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of multifamily property management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficiency with YARDI.

Detail-orientation and focus on ensuring that data and reports are complete and accurate.

Proactive management style focused on preventing issues before they occur.

Collaborative leadership style focused on bringing out the best in the team and developing teammates.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent at multi-tasking and performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to train and motivate others with a positive, go-getter attitude.

Basic understanding of the materials, methods, and tools used to construct and repair buildings.

Strong negotiation and resident advocacy skills.
