Job description
Founded in 2015, DocGo offers integrated, digital-first medical mobility services with superior on-demand service response and enhanced transparency, including real-time vehicle location and accurate estimated arrival times. Working together with licensed practitioners, the company's last-mile TeleHealth Plus, leverages DocGo's technology, infrastructure, and staff of more than 1,700 paramedics and EMTs (emergency medical technicians) to fulfill the promise of telehealth by enabling the delivery of quality healthcare to patients in a convenient, affordable, and resource-optimized way. TeleHealth Plus services are currently provided on a business-to-business basis to large hospital networks, insurance providers, municipalities, and large commercial enterprises. Services include testing, vaccinations, bloodwork, IV hydration, wound care, mobile imaging, and EKGs, among many others. DocGo participates in a $95 billion addressable market and currently operates in 23 states in the U.S. and in the U.K.
As a key contributor to the success of DocGo, the Business Development Representative/Executive will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales for our TeleHealth Plus & Covid Vaccination services with Health Systems, Hospitals and Physicians as well as insurance providers, municipalities, and self-funded plan sponsors.
Rapid Reliable Testing is a venture of DocGo to bring additional services to help our communities manage the COVID-19 pandemic as per contract with each State. DocGo will be using various models to provide access to the health assessments and vaccinations. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to offer the Covid-19 vaccination.
Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough understanding of a complex sales cycle to achieve consistent financial returns
- Ability to differentiate the value of our solutions in a competitive environment
- Critical to have a result-oriented "hunter" mentality and disciplined execution to meet and exceed set targets
- Adept at navigating large company hierarchies to connect with prospects via cold calling, email, and other traditional and non-traditional methods
- Solution sales mindset and approach vs a transactional sales approach
- Have a metrics driven demeanor to execute on activity metrics to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
- Be self-motivated, coachable and bring a contagious positive can-do attitude to the team
- Be skilled at crafting business solutions for complex business problems
- Forge new partnerships and vendor relationships for current and new programs/solutions
- Maintain consistent and frequent contact with prospects during the sales cycle
- Negotiate contracts, including confidentiality agreements and possible joint ventures
- Timely follow-up on leads generated by the company marketing group
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and experience communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts
- Continually update CRM to track sales cycle communication and action items
Required Skills:
- Proven individual sales performance of $3M+ per year
- Extensive and active contact list within the Health System, Hospital, and Physician community
- Highest degree of integrity in handling and processing confidential and sensitive information
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation skills
- Team player with an easy-going demeanor
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Extremely detail oriented with excellent follow through
Preferred Skills:
- Proven track record in sales and ability to meet & exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis
- Experience working multiple strategic accounts
- Exceptional ability to secure new clients
- Telemedicine Healthcare industry knowledge
- Experience with both medical hardware sales and software sales (either SaaS or on-prem)
Education & Specialized Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in solution sales to the marketplace
- Hands-on experience with responding to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
Pay: Base salary (range up to $150K), plus bonus incentives (25% bonus opportunity of salary for success contracting of TeleHealth Plus business and $1.00 per patient interaction for vaccines and testing).
Schedule: Full-time hours (40-hour work week)
Type: 1099 for the first six months and then eligible for FT employment based upon performance
