We have an immediate opening for a Production Manager in our Bed/Bath Division. Our headquarters is based in Irvington, NY, but this position will be working remote. Salary is negotiable and based on experience.

Primary Responsibility

Monitor production for all open orders to ensure all aspects of production are properly executed to produce finished products in adherence with the targeted delivery schedule and quality on daily basis.

Experience

• 3 -5 years' experience in the Home Furnishing industry or apparel with Walmart Experience.
• Must be very knowledgeable in Walmart's Production Process, Retail Link, Supplier Quote, Item 360
• Strong Understanding of Walmart's Testing / Inspection Protocols and have worked w/ CTL on forms / applications and submittal processes.
• Knowledge of Infor Nexus System
• Strong capabilities in the use of Microsoft Office suite (excel, word, power point)

Execute Production

• Work w/ purchasing team to issue Po's and monitor all detail associated w/ each order during the life cycle of the order until it ships.
• Manage the Production Process once handed over from the Product Manager
• Manage and Own Production TNA's
• Trouble Shooting Issues with Overseas as they arise
• Ensuring on time deliveries for the factories
• Ensure factories have all tech packs and prioritizing the needs of the factories
• Assist Overseas Team on item setups, style number creation, and UPCs
• Partner closely with vendor base to ensure efficient management of business
• Work with quality and testing teams to ensure all bulk product meets standards & is classified properly
• Onboard new vendors & work closely with compliance to set up new factories
• Maintain organized list of Walmart assortment (CHF ID, Walmart item #s, UPCs, and key attributes, size, color, sustainable features, etc.) and provide clarification when discrepancies arise
• Commit to continuous learning; proactively seek out the latest skills, knowledge, and resources to best execute the tasks of the job
• Anticipate customer needs, internally and externally, to exceed expectations and deliver the best overall result
• Have a innovate/ improve mindset; always be thinking about new ideas to improve how we transact our business

• Communicate with Sales and Product Manager regarding any potential delivery issues, offering solutions & problem solving
• Ability to lead projects from start to completion, including communication scope, action, objective, coordination of all parties involved, i.e., meetings, individual follow up, etc., seeking out needed information, etc.
