Job description
A leading private equity company based in San Diego is hiring an RFP Analyst. This job is very heavy in writing proposals and project management. You must have an extremely high level of communication and project management skills to be considered for this role. Pay is in the 75k range plus bonus with a lot of opportunity for advancement within the company.
Compensation: 75k plus 20% bonus and excellent benefits
Location: La Jolla (vaccination required) Hybrid work environment - 3 days a week in the office, free parking

Position Overview
This person will work in a team that supports the global RFP and business development efforts across the company, as well as other communications to source and service potential clients as the company continues to grow. The Analyst's primary role is to draft proposals, presentations, and other analyses in response to requests from prospective clients. As a result, the Analyst will collaborate with and have exposure to all levels across the Firm, including the research, business development, finance, legal, compliance, and HR teams. The person should have a solid understanding and interest in investments, the private markets space (specifically, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and private debt), strong interpersonal skills, and project management skills.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant work experience in financial or legal services. The Analyst will demonstrate maturity, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Essential Job Functions:
· Responsible for completing RFPs/RFIs and client requests, including writing and editing content, working with a cross-functional team to obtain all the necessary information, and ensuring that the final product is accurate and delivered on time
· Assist in maintaining central database of responses to ensure content is kept up to date
· Strong commitment to high-quality writing, demonstrated ability to produce compelling and compliant proposals against aggressive deadlines, and working in a global team environment
· Critically assess the accuracy and relevance of content provided by cross-functional team members in response to RFPs/RFIs
· Respond to industry surveys and ad hoc requests
· Provide support on developing presentations and managing agenda for on-site client presentations (post-COVID)
· Assist with various other projects and analyses for the Firm's Business Development teams
Other Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or Liberal Arts
· Minimum of 2 years of related financial services (private equity, or investment management a plus) or paralegal experience
· Highly motivated self-starter, with demonstrated history of taking initiative, being adaptive in a fast-changing environment, and working independently
· Strong ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail-oriented environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills (writing sample requested)
· Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Follow up skills and attention to accuracy and detail are essential
