Job Description
We are seeking a Director, Human Resources Business Partner ("HRBP") who will partner with the leadership of the Tech Ops team in Santa Monica, CA. Reporting to the Tech Ops Sr. Director of Human Resources, you will support the two Tech Ops functional organizations. In this global role, you will partner with the leadership teams in global organizational assessment and design, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, and coaching for their respective groups. Essential Duties and Job Functions
- Oversee a range of human resources services, providing proactive HR leadership and consultation to business groups supporting leaders, managers and employees of the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide the strategic leadership in organizational change and other new initiatives. Ensure organizational success in complex competitive business situations such as, exceptional business trajectories, reorganizations, and high growth.
- Provide change management expertise to drive faster adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the organization. Develop and deploy change management training programs across client groups.
- Design and/or implement programs in accordance with company-wide human resources policies, procedures and initiatives. Serve as a consultant to client group management and responsible for identifying the need for HR programs or strategies to support business objectives, as well as strategic direction.
- Serve as integrated part of the business, working with and advising the managers of respective client groups to align with and assist in accomplishing broader business objectives, and making recommendations for changes in organizational structure or processes to support growth within the organization.
- Drive Kite's commitment to Diversity & Inclusion through numerous initiatives such as advisory councils, Employee Resource Groups, programs, policies and other resources.
- Provide senior management with an interpretation of current HR policies and may facilitate the training of managers and supervisors on HR programs and policies.
- Partner with the HR COEs to deliver customized programs and services to the business in the areas of
- Total Rewards (drive merit, bonus and equity planning process, coach managers on market pricing, differentiation and compensation philosophy)
- Organizational Development and Talent Management (lead talent planning across all levels of the organization for assigned client groups with a focus on development, succession planning and retention),
- Performance Management (support all levels of management by providing HR advice, counsel and decisions regarding performance improvement)
- Employee Relations (work through investigation processes, ensuring adherence to appropriate employment laws and Kite policies.
- Talent Acquisition (work closely with business leadership to identify staffing priorities and recruiting strategies to win the war for talent)
- Develop and conduct presentations to employees and managers on a variety of HR subjects.
- Participate in global HR initiatives that may require taking the lead on HR projects within the client group.
Basic Qualifications
- MA/MS with 10 years of experience OR
- BA/BS with 12 years of experience OR
- High School Diploma with 16 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Business and 10 years of experience in the HR field.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Skilled in use of Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of change management strategic planning processes, delivery methodologies and tools to deliver successful change programs.
- Strong team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
- Strong leadership skills, and the ability to operate as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences.
