Job Summary: The Business Solutions and Reporting Manager is responsible for driving business line reporting, business solutions and strategic initiatives for Commercial Banking. Scope includes continuous assessment of business strategies and processes, seeking out partnership opportunities with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as, external vendors and organizations to optimize existing processes and functions. The position will focus on implementation of strategic initiatives, business line reporting and process improvement to drive efficiencies and profitability for the organization. Management or Supervision: No Major Responsibilities: Serves as key lieutenant to Head of Sales & Service Administration supporting the business line executive and leadership team and cultivates strong relationships throughout the organization. Strategy: Drives strategic initiatives aligned to Commercial Banking segment customer acquisition, client retention, cross-sell performance and customer experience delivery. Contributes to the development of strategic plans and provides input for Board and related presentations. Business Processes: Lead the development of process solutions by leading stakeholder meetings to gather and collaborate on improvements and suggestions for process and quality improvements. Identifies and leads synergy opportunities throughout the organization; manages complex interdependencies across internal and external stakeholders/projects. Creates detailed process mapping and reviews operating metrics to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Drives the implementation of assigned projects by developing or coordinating project plans, facilitation of meetings, gaining consensus and creating appropriate communication to offices or status to senior management. Work closely with a variety of stakeholders to implement changes throughout the organization. Partner with IT to align technical solutions with business requirements using transformation methodology concepts. Apply change management practices to support adoption of new business processes. Reporting: Lead the development and advancement of data analytics and dashboard reporting capabilities, delivering business results while anticipating problems and challenges. Partner with business leaders and support areas to drive clear and transparent reporting. Risk Management: Support the on-going collection and analysis of key Risk data from a variety of sources. Collaborate with first- and second-line Risk partners, ensuring regular communication and production of key risk reports, including the identification and tracking of existing and emerging risks. Coordinate with business line leadership for risk mitigation activities including self-identification procedures and training. Education, Licensure, Year of Experience (and type of work experience): 8-10 years' Commercial Banking or similar experience, including a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Proven experience in work process change & process improvement. Experience consulting to senior leaders on organizational development issues. Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to collaborate and build coalitions across functions and work effectively with others. Solid project management skills to support complex change. Excellent writing and communications skills; understands what it takes to influence others to earn respect and achieve intended results. Creative, out of the box thinker who possesses an entrepreneurial spirit. Strong analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills; ability to develop creative solutions. Results oriented with a sense of urgency and a demonstrated ability to produce. Strategic, independent and progressive thinker. Ability to quickly gain a high-level understanding business processes to effectively implement change. Proven ability to distill widely variant feedback and recommend actionable feedback to product teams. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and negotiate and collaborate effectively.
