Job description

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in growing RGP to a $1B professional services organization. Through the development and production of critical financial analysis and reports, you will contribute directly and significantly to the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis department's ability to run effectively and efficiently.

We are seeking a Senior Financial analyst with a demonstrated ability in supporting sound decision-making and preparing insightful financial analyses to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Irvine, CA. This position reports to the Director of FP&A.

This includes:

• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Evaluating and delivering variance and trend analysis on the company's financial performance in a timely, concise, and comprehensible manner
• Assisting in the development of ongoing forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans
• Developing financial projections and constructing driver-based financial models
• Creating effective business partnerships, managing competing priorities, providing guidance, and making recommendations that deliver results and drive improvements
• Performing research and ad-hoc analysis as needed

Requirements of the Role

Bachelor's degree in Finance or related area; MBA degree a plus

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting; professional services industry experience preferred

Solid grasp of GAAP, including comprehensive understanding of financial statements

Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, PowerBI)

Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
