Craft Aerospace is all about making use of our existing infrastructure to make long distance travel faster, easier, and more accessible to our customers. By utilizing existing infrastructure and through the development and creation of the Craft designs, this future will become a reality.
The Craft aircraft is a novel design, featuring a blown lift configuration enabling hover and shorter takeoffs combined with traditional methods of landing. This will allow it to operate out of existing helipads and also shorter existing runways such as municipal and regional airports.
CRAFT Aerospace Technologies, Inc. (CRAFT) is building a hybrid electric vertical take off and landing (VTOL) aircraft for high frequency, regional service. Our products cut travel time in half on the world's busiest routes using city helipads, municipal airports, and future vertiports. The team at Craft Aerospace is looking for a business development lead to be responsible for identifying and evaluating a variety of growth opportunities, developing partnerships with customers, and sharing those ideas with management and customers.
Responsibilities:
● Propose and manage projects for new business opportunities that demonstrate the value of Craft products to customer networks and organizations.
● Identify, filter and evaluate pipeline opportunities.
● Build relationships with customers, strategic partners, and industry participants.
● Collaborates with partners and customers to analytically explore business and operational problems.
● Analyze data involving highly complex business and operational opportunities. Simplify complex analytical models/insights/solutions in presentations for executive leadership and customers.
● Support shaping the internal and external narrative.
● Travel as needed, following COVID safety protocols, up to 25%
Qualifications:
● Experience defining and running projects. In particular for assessing new business opportunities for novel transportation solutions.
● Hands-on experience with transportation system modeling, including demand and mode choice modeling, and analysis of consumer behavior.
● Experience with strategic analysis, financial analyses, and due diligence of potential strategic opportunities.
● Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams of diverse stakeholders.
● BS in engineering, data science, computer science or similar technical degree w/ a backgrounds in statistics
● M.Sc., MBA or higher other degrees are preferred
● Understanding of airline operations, network planning, and passenger datasets
● Strong analytical and problem solving skills
● An interest in aviation and/or new transportation technology. Aviation, advanced aerial mobility, and/or technology industry experience will be helpful and is preferred, but not required.
