We are looking for experienced, proven mortgage loan professionals for real estate and satellite offices in Anaheim Hills, Arcadia, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Calabasas, Glendale, Hancock Park, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Los Angeles, La Quinta, Los Feliz, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Rey, Montecito, Newport Beach, Oxnard, Pacific Palisades, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Pasadena, Playa Del Rey, San Clemente, Santa Barbara, San Marino, Santa Monica, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Sunset Strip, South Bay, Tustin, Ventura, Westchester, Westlake Village, Westwood and Yorba Linda.

As a Loan Officer for First Capital, you will promote and market our outstanding mortgage products to clients, team members, and business partners. You will originate and fund loans based on assessing and evaluating our customer's financial needs while building strong relationships and referral business. Our Loan Officers are responsible for guiding the client through the loan process and managing all aspects of the loan transaction. Position Requirements:
Minimum three years of recent mortgage lending experience required
High school diploma or GED required
Must have recent history of successfully meeting loan production requirements
Must be able to meet DBO loan originating license requirements and have the ability to be
approved for a DBO license registered with NMLS.
FHA/VA sales experience preferred - Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines
Must be familiar with mortgage lending, investors, and basic policies and procedures
Knowledge of the local real estate market desirable
Ability to develop strong relationships within the real estate offices and with customers
Must be motivated to set and achieve monthly sales goals and increase originations and
closings
Ability to provide recommendations and be a consultant to customers regarding financial
analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and knowledge of the customer's financial needs,
goals, and circumstances.
Must possess excellent communication and phone skills
Must have the ability to work independently
Must be customer-service oriented
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities
Must possess analytical and problem solving skills

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for gathering reviewing and submitting completed mortgage loan applications
Responsible for reviewing and submitting the proper borrower financial documents
Ensure compliance with Company and mortgage guidelines and policies
Ensures critical deadlines are met throughout the loan process flow to ensure timely closings

Possess sales/relationship building and customer service skills
Have a creative and innovative approach on problem solving issues
Ability to present and discuss confidential information with clients
Have flexibility in meeting work requirements
Must be detail-oriented and able to follow lending guidelines
Ability to work within a commission pay structure
