Job description

SUMMARY: We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator at our office in Newport Beach and/or possibly local remote. The ideal candidate should be passionate about financial markets, has a strong analytical mindset, deep understanding of databases and data visualization, as well as strong attention to detail. Thrive in a dynamic environment delivering against tight deadlines, and a passion for scaling operations through automation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Salesforce Financial Cloud, Marketing Cloud:

*Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve problems reported by users in a timely manner

*Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks

*Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

*Designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying high quality business solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud based on business needs

  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivots, Macros, VBA, External data import/exports)
  • Analyze data sources between systems for completeness and timeliness.
  • Contribute to the design and documentation of internal procedures to improve data consistency, cleanliness, and ease of use.
  • Communicate task progress status and any potential delays that will have impact on the larger project.
  • Ad hoc reporting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analysis, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience with Salesforce Financial Cloud
  • Experience with Data Loader
  • Acute analytical abilities and attention to detail are essential for this position.
  • Ability to work independently and formulate analysis plans with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
