The Team You'll Work With

The Finance Systems Administrator will report to and work closely with the Vice President, Corporate Controller as well as partner with leaders across the company.

The Problems You'll Solve

As Carta continues to grow quickly, we need to scale our financial processes and backend financial systems. This role will manage the administration of Carta's financial systems including Netsuite, Zuora, and Coupa. The position is ideal for someone that enjoys building new processes to support a business at scale. The person will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Core Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role will include aligning current Accounting and Finance systems to work seamlessly together. Ensures financial systems from newly acquired companies are integrated within financial systems. The role will be either a Manager or Director depending on level of experience and will report directly to the VP, Corporate Controller. This position is a key partner in the Accounting organization to provide financial insight and analysis for business decisions. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent operational and project management skills especially with financial system integrations into common platforms.

About You

• The ability to enable Financial Reporting from the financial systems.
• Uses the right mix of programming skills, quantitative skills, and business knowledge to identify problems or opportunities amenable to advanced analytics solutions and provide insights and influence action.
• Coordinates related work with external audits.
• Help develop a control structure around business systems and assist in building a financial system framework.
• 4+ years of experience with financial systems, preferably within a software or technology company.
• Ability to build, lead, and mentor cross functional teams.
• Advanced skills in Netsuite and Zuora and other financial reporting tools. Familiarity with Salesforce and Coupa is a plus.
• Experience integrating above systems with each other and with custom software solutions
• Program management skills for programs, projects & processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and produce time sensitive deliverables
• Experience managing and supervising engagements with external consultants and developers
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting, required.
