The Human Resources Intern will assist the VP HR Business Partner in supporting our internal shared services client groups (Finance, Accounting, Facilities, Procurement and others). This role will lead and participate in several Human Resources related projects to support the HR and client group teams. The Intern will also be responsible for data analysis and interpretation, organizing, and providing administrative support.

What you'll do as a Human Resources Intern:

Project management support for key client groups. Examples include: Onboarding & immersion

Recruitment strategies

Organizational health data

Succession planning

Career pathing

Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Recruitment, Compensation, Learning & Development, Operations etc.) to successfully gather relevant information to support projects

Analyze and interpret data and synthesize into a presentable format

Assist with department's engagement team events & activities

Research various topics to gather competitive intelligence and best practices

Identify processes which can be improved and made more efficient

Provide extraordinary customer service by promptly answering calls and emails

Prioritize daily tasks, stay organized and focus on attention to detail

Deliver extraordinary service to First Republic colleagues - our clients

What skills and traits you will need:

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLookup, charts & graphs)

Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar

Positive attitude, humility and eagerness to learn

Creative, good listener

Basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, PowerPoint)
