Job description
Do you have a broad knowledge of human resources best practices? Are you highly energetic, personable, professional, and resourceful? Are you comfortable interacting with personnel at all levels and can you work collaboratively within a team as well as independently? DreamView is looking for an experienced HR professional to oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes.
The HR Manager will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, HR analytics, and compliance at DreamView. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.
This is a remote/telecommute position. The studio is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work anywhere in the world!
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Director of Operations to develop and co-ordinate employee training and development including new hire orientation, performance reviews, and ongoing skills development
- Partner with the Recruitment Manager and other managers to ensure the effective implementation of HR plans, projects, and programs as well as understanding the functions of the company
- Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of tasks efficiently within a high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines
- Act as a key employee resource, proactively respond to employee questions and concerns
- Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure feedback is communicated to appropriate levels of management, and ensure exit process is executed
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to HR that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes
- Participate in special projects/HR initiatives, including assessment of best practices
Requirements
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist
- Degree/Certificate in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of the California labor laws
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Familiar with MS Office
- Great leadership skills and ability to mentor others
- Effective communication skills
