Job description

A private HNW Family based in San Francisco is looking for a new household manager/ PA

Responsibilities include:

  • personal support - travel, gifts etc.
  • half working from candidate's home, and half driving/ errand running/ working from the family home
  • calendar management
  • heavy touch assistance and management with their household - e.g. vendors, appointments, scheduling
  • some errand running
  • sorting mail
  • organizing events
  • research projects into various household projects
  • expense reports
  • looking after 2 cats
  • assisting with local family members
  • scheduling vehicle maintenance
  • organizing the home, ensuring it always looks neat
  • working with the cleaning team


Progression

This role will increase in responsibility as the family moves to a larger property, this position will then work alongside an Estate Manager and a larger staff.


Ideal candidates will be discrete, amiable, quick learners, have excellent communication skills, be self-starters, and able to manage their own time well.

Candidates must:

  • have at least 5 year previous experience in a similar role - P.A. or House Manager work
  • be used to solo work
  • happy to work remotely 50% of the time
  • be able to drive with their own car
  • take a no job too big or too small approach
  • be happy to acknowledge emails over the weekend (only to action things in case of emergencies)
  • live nearby, no more than a 30 min commute from 94114
  • be Covid vaccinated


Ideals but not required:

  • Spanish speaking
  • Mandarin speaking
