At The RealReal, our Talent Acquisition team's mission is to shape the future of our company by building extraordinary teams with authentic and diverse talent. As a Principal Recruiter , you will directly impact this mission and act as a core strategic driver of our success. You will partner with Hiring Managers and define a strategy for the hiring process. This role will be responsible for stakeholder management, recruiting strategy/execution as well as informing talent branding, DEI strategy, market intelligence, and analytics for leadership and unique positions at The RealReal.
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Drive best in class practices in recruitment and operational standards, drive efficiencies, and foster an environment that focuses on stakeholder management and delivery
- Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting including but not limited to: Leadership roles in Sales, Operations, Product & Technology, as well as supporting some of our unique positions and pushes
- Develop and drive strategies for diverse candidate pipeline development, with support of our DEI team
- Build and maintain a network of talent through ongoing relationship management, evangelizing our employer brand for your business groups
- Consistently deliver results in filling open requisitions with a keen eye for talent, qualifying and engaging candidates with strong technical skills and excellent company culture fit
- Craft and execute creative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns leveraging our internal systems and tools (Greenhouse, GEM, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Work closely with internal groups and the human resource business partners to understand business requirements and consult on talent solutions
- Serve as a mentor to the recruiting team members while managing their efforts to meet staffing requirements
- Proactively manage and execute on recruiting metrics, weekly recruiting status reports and communications to key executives, the VP of HR and hiring managers
What You Bring To The Role
- 7-10+ plus years of multi-discipline, full life-cycle recruiting experience
- Proven results-oriented track record, consistently meeting or exceeding established metrics and goals
- Ability to scale and work in highly dynamic but supportive culture and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and management teams on hiring initiatives
- Great teammate with the ability to multi-task and pitch in with all talent acquisition and human resource team members when they need help
- Excellent written and verbal skills, both internally and externally
- Strong closing skills with a dedication to creating a positive candidate experience
