Your role at Sephora... As our Senior Product Manager, Promotions, you will interface directly with all levels of the Sephora organization with a primary focus on the cross-channel Promotions domain. In this role, as the intersection of business and technology you will lead the strategy, roadmap and delivery of best in-class promotion programs. Reporting into the Director of Product Management, Client Engagement, you will be instrumental in delivering the next generation of our customer engagement and acquisition solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Actively participate in the development of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis for your domains.
  • Champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap cross functionally for your domain(s)
  • Create supporting business cases, including financial impact and benefit statements, to support feature/functionality concepts and sell the concepts to internal audiences through persuasive oral and written presentations.
  • Create crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to execute your products and features.
  • Utilize your ability to accurately read and analyze data to create exciting solutions for customers and internal business groups.
  • Gain input from a variety of internal and external sources to define product concepts; respond to customer needs throughout the development process; analyze competitors and market trends; evaluate technologies; develop detailed requirements, feature definitions, implementation plans, and internal communications.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among domains and product teams to enable a balanced delivery portfolio across programs and projects
  • Develop strong partnerships with multiple business teams and leaders, gain understanding of key goals and impacts. Teams include Loyalty, Marketing, Ecommerce Production, CRM & Analytics, Retail Operations and Finance.
  • Track to defined metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products and features

We would love to hear from you if...
  • 5+ years of related experience in product management, having contributed to multiple software projects throughout the entire development cycle.
  • Domain expertise in Promotion and/or Loyalty programs is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a multi-channel retail environment or other customer focused technology products.
  • A track record of being a self-driven professional with ability to operate effectively without close supervision
  • Proven ability to identify the business objectives, develop and implement a business strategy on projects; capable of making reliable business decisions during execution.
  • Demonstrated leadership of direct and/or indirect teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of ideation, execution or delivery.
  • Ability to work independently with "make it happen" attitude; able to successfully operate in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Comfortable managing third party vendors and vendor negotiation in partnership with procurement teams.
  • Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to and influencing executive-level management.
  • Bachelor's Degree and / or equivalent experience
