We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to become a trusted advisor for our Fortune 500 clients. If you are someone who likes managing and growing a business, this role is right for you!
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in managing and expanding a growing base of accounts, providing solutions to complex business challenges, and developing a consultative-strategic relationship with clients and employees alike.
Reporting to the VP of Account Management, this role will manage one or more of our strategic Fortune 500/1000 account(s). The role will serve as the internal voice of the customer while working to exceed customer expectations. Along with that, they will possess a high degree of empathy to ensure the customers satisfaction with iTDs people and services.
This high-impact role combines equal parts people management, client management, sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of iTalent Digitals service team to the client and the central point of contact for its onsite and remote consultants.
- Maintain and sustain relationships with customer contacts.
- Oversee commercial aspects for the current account (revenue, margins, receivables).
- Proactively locate gaps in current delivery and build business case for enhanced service offerings.
- Track and ensure that delivery escalations are closed appropriately.
- Create a funnel of new business opportunities from the current account by showcasing ITD's end-to-end service capabilities.
- Educate field consultants to foster a consultative partnership with the client and to serve as iTD Brand Ambassadors within the account.
- Use company CRM to diligently track client interactions, as well as log and following through on new opportunities of growth.
- Working with clients in quoting rates and creating/renewing SOWs (with the help from internal cross-functional partners)
- Set the cadence of communication with client managers and employees alike within the account to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues and uncover new business opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, HR, Marketing and other teams to resolve customer issues and work towards achieving shared goals.
- Be a part of the team to optimize processes, remove internal roadblocks, establish KPIs and make recommendations to create overall efficiencies across the company.
Required qualifications and skills
- View customer satisfaction as a top priority.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, preferably within a high growth professional services global consulting organization.
- Previous successful experience expanding the footprint of a strategic account(s) and growing the overall revenue by wide margins.
- Previous experience managing million-dollar (plus) accounts.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM systems to enter and track sales opportunities, client interactions, etc.
- Have experience growing a nascent and/or established territory.
- Must be an excellent communicator and possess great people skills; especially as it relates to working directly with senior client leadership (Directors, VP's).
- Experience crafting and closing new SOW's for newly acquired project engagements.
- Experience managing both client relationships as well as field employees (who are working on assignment).
- Proven ability to influence through empathy, negotiation and consensus building.
- Excellent interpersonal skill with ability to build authentic business relationships and deal effectively with challenges and obstacles as they come up.
- Great organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks. Super detail oriented.
- Ability to influence & collaborate at all levels.
- Ability to navigate & operate through ambiguity.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Preferred qualifications and skills
- Experience working in a company where consultants and cutting-edge technology are the heart of the business.
- Background in working with SOW's (statement of work) for project-based consulting engagements.
- Experience using and navigating ATS Systems (Applicant Tracking System). Examples include Greenhouse, Lever, Zoho Recruit, iCIMS and/or any others.
- Previous experience working as a recruiter / talent acquisition professional.
- Experience responding to and completing RFP's / RFI's.
