Job description

Sandbar is a local Santa Cruz solar and electrical contractor who has been in business for over 17 years with a variety of projects including design/build, commercial electrical, commercial solar, residential electrical, residential solar, electrical vehicle charging stations, and off grid solar. Currently, Sandbar is looking to fill a full-time Office and Accounting Administrator position that would work at our office in Santa Cruz.

Essential Duties:

· Quickbooks/accounting support including AR/AP processing

· Invoice/Pack slip organization and management

· Credit Card reconciliations

· Vendor statement reconciliations

· General filing, scanning, data entry, create office memos/notices, provide back-up clerical support as needed

· Ability to answer phones courteously, using professional etiquette; take clear messages

· Greet walk-ins with a friendly professional demeanor

· Order/coordinate maintenance of office supplies

· Company mail: sort & distribute; prepare outgoing mail; post office runs

· Help plan/coordinate company events

· Apply for City business licenses

· Support sales and marketing team

Qualifications:

· Two year's minimum experience working in an office/construction setting answering phones and providing general administrative support

· Possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity

· Display a professional appearance and demeanor

· Display great customer service skills, including solid communication and the ability to interact in a positive manner with staff, customers, vendors, etc.

· Be a team player and demonstrate independent analytical and problem-solving skills to accomplish task completion.

· Knowledge of Salesforce and QuickBooks beneficial

· Experience with solar and/or electrical construction industry a plus

· Possess a valid and current CA driver's license

Required Skills:

· Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook)

· Ability to multi-task successfully in a fast-paced environment is required

· Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Demonstrable ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Must be adaptive and have a positive attitude

Benefits:

· Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and paid holiday benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment

· Payroll contribution 401(k) after 1 year of service with Safe Harbor Eligibility

$18-$20 per hour DOE
