Job description

Leading Global Music Corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support members on their Publicity team. This is a 3-month contract opportunity. In this role, you will take on responsibilities to streamline the department workflow, maintain calendars, organize press kits, update contact lists, submit expense reports, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior support professional who is eager to take on various responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment. Your drive and passion for the industry will help you succeed in this incredible role.


You will:

  • Manage extensive and ever-changing calendars; prepare daily agendas, ensure schedules are kept up-to-date and accurate
  • Schedule and coordinate business meetings and conference calls, respond to meeting requests, and resolve meeting conflicts
  • Organize light travel arrangements, reserve transportation and hotel accommodations
  • Organize and submit department manager expense reports
  • Assist with the organization of press materials including: bios, press reports, press kits, media alerts, press releases, event/show invitations, etc.
  • Research and distribute company wide media alerts detailing artist press coverage
  • Produce reports, presentation materials, and meeting notes
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed


About you:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong internship experience within an administrative support role; PR and/or entertainment experience highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with schedule coordination and calendar management
  • Motivated, proactive attitude with unshakable work ethic
  • Ability to self-manage multiple active projects; strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Expertise in MS Office
