From on-mountain concerts to world-famous après ski parties and a one-of-a-kind DJ CAT, Heavenly exudes high-energy from first chair to last call. *Come be a part of the team committed to delivering a refreshingly unique ski experience.* []() *As of Nov. 15, 2021, Vail Resorts will be requiring all employees across North America to be vaccinated for COVID-19*. *SUMMARY OF JOB: *Provide epic guest service by accurately processing rental and retail transactions and returns. *ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* • Enthusiastically engage with every guest to ensure that they feel: happy, excited, relaxed and safe • Keep pace in a high energy, extremely fast environment • Determine all customer needs by developing a relationship, building customer confidence and providing accurate product information to increase retail/rental sales • Accurate and efficient cash handling and processing of all retail and rental sales • Maintain excellent store visual standards by constantly straightening, folding, sizing and restocking merchandise • Follow all company standards in regards to safety protocol, cash management, and rental contract completion • Move with a sense of urgency and complete all tasks in a timely manner • Answer store phones courteously and professionally *BENEFITS:* • Busiest rental/retail store in Lake Tahoe • Fast-paced, fun and social environment • Training and certification provided for ski and snowboard equipment • Ski pass provided valid at any of Vail Resort properties {dependent(s) pass not offered} • Access to test top-of-the-line 2022 equipment • Morning and evening shifts available • Morning and night shifts available • Split-shift and ski-ride breaks available • Significant retail, rental and food/beverage discounts • Centrally located in South Lake Tahoe at the Heavenly Village Gondola • On bus line and walking distance from transit center *QUALIFICATIONS:* • As of November 15th 2021, Vail Resorts will be requiring all employees across North America to be vaccinated for COVID-19 • English fluency • Computer literacy • Be able to kneel and stand repeatedly as well as be able to be on your feet all day • Be able to lift 30 lbs. • Excellent communication skills • Consistently positive attitude • Snow-sports experience (preferred) • Retail/hospitality experience (preferred) *HOLIDAY HELP SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS:* • Work 100 service hours per Winter Season which can be done in the following 3 different ways • Example: work 100 hours over the Christmas/New-Year holiday period • Example: work (1) 5-8 hour shift every Saturday for the entire Winter Season • Example 3: work 100 hours over Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas/New-Year holiday period, MLK weekend, President's week, Spring Break and Easter *Reach Your Peak at Vail Resorts. *As a community of adventurers and discoverers, Vail Resorts delivers an experience of a lifetime to our guests and our employees.
