Within our Global Quality team located in Denver - Leprino is seeking a Auditor, Supplier Food Safety & Quality to move our organization to even larger level of dairy ingredient and nutrition growth! At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $77,000 and $90,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

• Reviews and approves all required requisite supplier documentation including 3rd party audits, allergen assessments, product tech data sheets, and regulatory compliance documentation as part of the supplier approval process.
• Recommends suppliers for initial and ongoing approval based on documentation review, audit findings, non-conformance issues and overall supplier performance.
• Works quickly resolve any ingredient or packaging nonconformance issues, segregating any materials for disposition if needed.
• Audits supplier facilities for initial qualification, ongoing approval or for problem solving purposes.
• Ensures complete documentation of Supplier Audits and Corrective Actions.
• Conducts Annual Ingredient Risk Assessments.
• Assists with development of Annual Audit Schedule.
• Communicates data from audits, complaints, and exceptions to Purchasing and Global Quality.
• Assists Manager of Food Safety in establishing ingredient and packaging specifications that meet LFC and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with Product Development, Purchasing and Suppliers to modify specs as needs arise.
• Be humble, inquisitive, patient, collaborative, innovative, results-oriented, and resilient - the DNA of a Leprino employee.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, or a similar scientific subject area.
• Proven experience in quality assurance.
• HACCP Certification or Certified in Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI).
• The ability to travel up to 30%.

• A Master's degree in the above-mentioned fields.
• Previous experience as a food auditor.
